Hi Folks, Just wanted to draw your attention to us. Igloo Diamonds®. As of 2004, long before the current uproar and outrage due to the upcoming movie, we embarked on a unnique project in partnership with the UN affiliate of "Adopt-A-Minefield": we committed to purchase only Canadian origin diamonds and pass, per each sale, a full 40% of the markup to clearing a plot within a minefield in Mozambique (see:http://www.diamonds.ca/curious/promo.shtml). So far over $15,000 have been forwarded to the cause!. Now, unlike token "5% from the profit", which may be tantamount to nothing (book profit may be very low or nil,) we fully partner through passing straight from the markup per sale! Yourselves and/or subscribers may be interested in this unique approach and NGO/Diamond Vendor partnership which we call "Not for Profit Only" (so far--not even profitable at all)...
