Corporate Social Responsibility | | by Fran Goldstein www.diamond-key.com keynet@shani.net | Sparkle the Bear at Helzberg joins Graham at Kay Jewelers this holiday season illustrating some of the good things that are happening in our global community – jewelers giving back to their local communities.
Throughout the USA, jewelers have different ways at Christmas to give back to their local communities. These are two of the examples. We’ll be featuring more during the next few weeks. Sparkle the Bear was launched out of Helzberg headquarters in Kansas City Missouri, and Graham the puppy was launched out of Sterling headquarters in Akron Ohio. Both of the retail jewelry chains have ties to the Israel Diamond Exchange (as suppliers of polished diamonds) proving that corporate social responsibility may start at home, but it has a much wider reach and can certainly benefit both the local and global communities involved with the diamond and jewelry business worldwide.
